Spa at Solitude
Solitude Ski and Summer Resort has had a spa on their grounds for several years, but starting with December 1, 2007, there are some big changes, and a new owner-manager to look forward to.
Don’t let the five treatment rooms fool you into thinking this is a small-time spa! In-room massages are one of the specialties at The Spa at Solitude. Technicians specialize in deep tissue sports massages and that is a good thing since during the day you are probably going to be making your muscles work for you on the slopes, hiking trails or disc golf courses. And they pride themselves on the extras such as hot towel treatments.
You can also get the whole gamut of expected services such as mud packs, hydros, facials, steam sauna, yoga, etc. But another special feature is the outdoor heated pool. The heat from the pool and hot tub make for an interesting winter relaxation option. You can lounge in the area, half naked, while peering over five-foot snow banks at a beautiful sunset on the Wasatch Mountains.
