The lodge is probably best known for its surrounding 200-mile trail system. In winter, the trails are carefully groomed for the ultimate snowmobile adventure. Daniels Summit rents snowmobiles for those who want to venture out on their own - or visitors may sign up for a guided trek in the expansive wilderness. Once the snow melts, the trails transform into a mountain biker's dream! 
The Daniels Summit trail system is diversified enough to provide thrills for people of all skill levels. Whether you seek the intensity of a steep climb and powerful descent (the trails top out at 10,000 feet), or a calmer ride through gentle meadows, Daniels Summit has it all.
Other outdoor activities include cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter, with excellent downhill skiing nearby. Summer activities may include guided horseback rides through wildflower-dotted trails, and hiking. Or, venture out a bit beyond Daniels Summit, for excellent fishing, golf, water sports, or a glider ride.
The people at Daniels Summit know that just one day might not be enough time to experience all the area has to offer. To accommodate visitors, a beautiful lodge sits on the premises.
