Flaming Gorge Lodge
With Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area as its footstool, Flaming Gorge Lodge is not only a fisherman's paradise, but also a great family get-away. Located in the High Uinta Mountains in northeastern Utah, Flaming Gorge Lodge has a unique blend of activities and accommodations.
Whether it is winter or summer, Flaming Gorge offers a multiplicity of activities for any weary traveler. Breathtaking vistas and alpine meadows make it a winter sport wonderland, while the infamous Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area and Green River bring in huge summer crowds.
During the winter months, over 250 miles of the Uinta Basin's snowmobile trails are available to Flaming Gorge Lodge's visitors. With one of the longest winter seasons in Utah, the lodge has amazing wilderness vistas and unsurpassed groomed trails.
Centrally located throughout the Dinosaurland trails systems, the lodge guides several snowmobile adventures throughout the winter months.
Summer time brings swimming, water skiing, boating, rafting and fishing. With current state record trout for Kokanee, Salmon, Rainbow, Brown and Lake trout, Flaming Gorge Reservoir has the largest population of trout of any river in the country.
Rafting and fishing are available along the magnificent Green River. Flaming Gorge Lodge has a great fly shop to help with forgotten items or to answer any questions. Water sport rentals are also available through the lodge.
Large guest rooms and spacious condos welcome Flaming Gorge Lodge visitors with a spectacular view of the area. Condos are furnished allowing 3-4 travelers with a bed for all, a kitchen, telephone, TV and VCR.
