Angels Landing - Be Prepared!

If you go slow and steady you'll be just fine. But my husband and I were amazed at the number of people on the trail who were totally unprepared for a strenuous hike. We passed a foreign tourist wearing flip flops many individuals without water (in July!) and one man with a young child. Thank goodness the man with the child turned around at Scouts...

I love Angels Landing

Angels is one of my favorite hikes. I've done it 1-2 times a year for the past 20 years. I often hike it with kids. It really isn't that hard physically, but it can be psychologically challenging for some people. If you are afraid of heights, hike somewhere else. Otherwise just take it slow and pay attention and you will be fine....

Not for children - no way

Just went up AL - phenomenal experience. I agree that adults should proceed at their own risk - and that is their call. However any parent that takes a child up to AL needs to have their head examined. Whatever an ADULT does is fine. But to take a child to AL ????? I am sorry you are a bad parent and/or an IDIOT !!!...
