Sanpete County will host bicycle racing enthusiasts from across Utah in the 4th Annual Classic Bicycle Race. Cyclists of all ages will compete in 46,75,and 98-mile races on courses that wind through the local countryside. Races start between 9:30 am and 10:45 am and pass through several Sanpete towns. This course offers rolling hills and beautiful scenery, all without a lot of automobile traffic. The somewhat quiet Main Street of Spring City also provides us with a great location to see each of our categories battle it out or bragging rights and prizes. The race features categories for men, women, juniors 17 or younger, and master-level competitors. Local racers are welcome. Organizers are hoping for 200 participants.
