Westminster College presents a lecture by Duke Energy CEO, James E. Rogers, “Energy 20/20: A Vision for a Clean Energy Future” on April 10, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. in the Vieve Gore Concert Hall in the Emma Eccles Jones Conservatory.
Rogers speaks as part of the Westminster Executive Leadership Lecture Series, presented by Wells Fargo. The series features nationally renowned executives who are experts in their field and who address issues and trends pertaining to today’s business environment. Lectures are free and open to the public.
Jim Rogers serves as chairman, president and chief executive officer for Duke Energy, the nation’s largest electric power company, delivering electricity to approximately 7 million customers in the Southeast and Midwest. In 2009, Newsweek named him one of "The 50 Most Powerful People in the World." He will speak about access to energy, where we are as a country in terms of affordable, reliable and increasingly clean energy and what we must do to ensure a clean energy future for 2020 and well beyond.
