Objects can be a primary form of evidence for understanding religion. By looking at Latter-day Saint women’s history through the lens of religious or sacred objects like sacrament bread, sacrament vessels, sacred clothing, consecrated oil, or religious textiles, We can develop a better understanding of how women in the past experienced such objects and how these interactions shaped their beliefs.
