Alpine & Snowboard Area
Giant Slalom and Snowboarding took place at the Alpine and Snowboard Area at Park City (Park City Mountain Resort). A major re-grade of the bottom quarter of the giant slalom course was completed in 1999.

Directions |
Take Interstate 80 East from downtown Salt Lake City and head towards Park City. Exit at Kimball Junction. Route 224 (watch for signs for Park City and Deer Valley Ski Areas). Follow 224 and signs to Park City. Turn left onto Deer Valley Drive south. Follow signs to the resort. |

Venue History |
Park City Mountain Resort (PCMR) has been a familiar stop on the World Cup circuit for the past decade with "America's Opening." The PCMR Director of Skiing is Picabo Street, 1998 Olympic gold medalist in super-G and 1994 Olympic silver medalist in downhill. |
