Summer Activities

The Deer Valley mountains have become a favorite for outdoor enthusiasts. Summer here combines scenic peaks, meadows and valleys with miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. You have the option of starting at the bottom of the mountains and working your way up and back down or you can enjoy a ride up the mountain on chairlifts and then select trails to take you back down. There are easy to difficult trails for those beginning and those who really know what they are doing. We know there is a trail just perfect for you. (See our trail guide and trail map.)

Deer Valley's Adventure Summer Camp offers creative and challenging activities for children 1 to 12 years of age. This state-licensed, children's center offers craft projects, games, climbing wall and many other activities to keep children involved while you experience other Deer Valley activities.

Deer Valley Resort Dining is definitely a reason to come to Deer Valley. Deer Valley's chefs know how to blend fine food and the outdoors together. Their award winning cuisine adds a little extra to every activity you engage in, whether it's a gourmet picnic basket while attending an outdoor concert or a patio lunch after a grueling bike ride down TBB "Team Big Bear" trail.

Deer Valley's outdoor amphitheater hosts multiple musical events during the summer season. The Utah Symphony & Opera's Deer Valley Music Festival, the Fidelity Investments Park City Jazz Festival, Big Stars, Bright Nights Concert Series and free local concerts are all here at Deer Valley Resort.

Rates for Silver Lake Express and Sterling Express Lifts:

All-day bike pass: $28

Single ride with bike, starting at either Snow Park or Silver Lake: $19

Scenic ride, adult: $15

Scenic ride, senior (65+): $12

Scenic ride, child 6 to 12 years: $12

Scenic ride 5 years and under: Free

Summer Season Pass: $275

Interchangeable Hospitality Pass: $550

Scenic ride and bike passes go to the top of Bald Mountain, starting at either Silver Lake or Snow Park Lodge.

Single scenic ride, adult: $8

Single scenic ride, senior 65+: $5

Single scenic ride, child 6 to 12 years: $5

Single scenic ride, child 5 years and under: Free

One round-trip ride beginning at the top or the bottom of Silver Lake Express.

Lift ticket does not include bike rental.

Signed Acknowledgement of Risks Agreement (by parent or guardian if rider is under 18) required. Helmets also required for bikers.
