Snowbasin hosted the 2002 Olympic Winter Games Men's and Women's Downhill, Super Giant Slalom, and Alpine Combined races. Today, downill runs Grizzly and Wildflower await skiers ready for the ultimate challenge!

This Sun Valley resort is family friendly, offering runs enjoyable to less-experienced and younger skiers as well. From Thanksgiving into the spring, Snowbasin's groomed slopes welcome skiers looking for the true mountain ski adventure.

Elevation, Vertical Rise and Lifts: Snowbasin's 2,959 vertical feet of ski trails, powder bowls and lush glades cover over 2,500 acres and truly offer terrain to suit everyone's needs. Of the 4 cableways in Utah with the greatest vertical rise, 3 are found at Snowbasin. Short lift lines, velvet cruising runs and long high-speed lifts allow strong skiers and boarders to clock over 50,000 vertical feet in a single day. Come set a personal mileage record on our Tram, 2 Gondolas, 1 Quad, 4 Triples, 1 Double, 1 Magic Carpet and 2 Handle Tows. Total uphill capacity: 14,500 skiers per hour.

Runs and Terrain: 64 designated runs and unlimited off-piste skiing is included in more than 2,500 acres of open bowls, long pistes and deep-powder glade skiing.
