For those skiers who would like a taste of the Wasatch backcountry, Solitude's Back Tracks program offers memorable backcountry adventures among some of the most pristine terrain in the country. The best part? Solitude’s Back Tracks provides everything you need, including a gourmet lunch.
Solitude Mountain Resort also offers a Nordic Center with nearly 20 kilometers of trails set for both classic and skating styles of Nordic skiing.
Snowboarders find wide open bowls under spectacular cliffs, open glades, and tight tree turns throughout Solitude's epic terrain. Adventuresome intermediate and advanced-level trails like Risky Ridge are characterized by steep chutes and slots, providing the ultimate ride.
Be sure to check out Solitude's family-friendly terrain park, built with fun in mind for everyone. The goal of the park is to have a dedicated area where any rider feels welcome, young and old, first time or veteran, snowboard or skis.
