Beaver Mountain (Boarding)
Though it has been in operation since 1939, Beaver Mountain only began serving riders in 1998. Its lifts are open to snowboarders today, offering some of the best terrain around. Beaver Mountain has recently cleared a new terrain park. It also offers riders numerous tabletops! The 664 rideable acres of resort include a variety of runs, including everything from gentle greenbacks, to challenging black diamond trails.
Situated in the Wasatch-Cache National Forest near the Logan Valley, Beaver Mountain receives over 400 inches of snow a year. It has 22 runs, 3 lifts and a vertical drop of 1,600 feet. These well-maintained slopes are situated ideally for the best northeastern exposure for morning sun, and avalanche-free conditions. All this makes Beaver Mountain one of Utah's best kept secrets.
