Quail Creek State Park

This is a scenic park in the St George area. It is a great place to boat, camp and fish. Because the weather is mild here, the park is popular year-round.
Location
Located just south of I-15, about 13 miles NE of St George. About 293 miles south of Salt Lake City.
Drive I-15 to exit Exit 16. Take Utah Hwy 9 for about three miles toward Hurricane and then follow the signs.

Description
The reservoir at this St George-area state park boats some of the warmest waters in the state, plus a mild winter climate. Water sports are popular here during the long warm weather season, and boaters and fishermen enjoy the reservoir year-round. Anglers fish for largemouth bass, rainbow trout, crappie and other species.
Camping is popular and the campground offers modern facilities.
St George City, Sand Hollow State Park and Red Cliffs Recreation Area are located nearby. Zion National Park is just a short drive away.

This park offers excellent camping year-round. Back-in and pull-through sites are available for tent camping and for RVs up to 35 feet. Some sites offer water hookups.
The park does not have a group campsite.
