A small earthquake was reported in Southern Utah today. This earthquake was only a magnitude of 3.2 on the rictor scale and seems to be of very little concern to anyone.
There have been reports of avalanches in Big and Little Cottonwood canyons during the last week. These reports are true, but the Utah Avalanche Control team have these under control. There is usually not problem when skiers and boarders stay in the designated areas. The risk comes when one decides that they know better than the officials.
