1 Zion Park Scenic Byway - Auto Tour Hwy. 9 into the Park, beneath towering canyon walls, up the switchbacks, through the tunnel and past Checkerboard Mesa.
2 Zion Narrows - Hike into the Narrows, a deep, scenic canyon cut by the Virgin River.
3 Hike - Face your fears and hike Angels Landing, the Narrows, or one of the rim trails. Or enjoy easy hikes along the river or up to the Emerald Pools.
4 Kolob Canyons Section - Auto tour to this scenic area. Picnic at the top and/or hike one of the trails.
5 Kolob Terrace Section - Auto tour into this mountainous area. Get out and hike if you enjoy technical trails.
6 State Parks - Four nearby state parks offer a wide variety of recreational opportunities. Coral Pink Sand Dunes has a great campground and soft, pink sand where you can hike and ride ATVs and other off-road vehicles. Sand Hollow offers excellent boating, fishing, camping and off-road/ATV riding. Quail Creek is a great place to boat, fish and camp. Snow Canyon is excellent for hiking and camping.
7 Mountain Bike - Ride in Zion Canyon or challenge Gooseberry Mesa or other technical trails.
8 Horseback Rides - Climb into the saddle and ride one of the horses available in Zion Canyon or at the guest ranches on either side of the park.
9 Brian Head - This nearby resort offers downhill skiing and snowboarding plus family tubing and other winter sports. In summer, this is a popular mountain bike destination with trails ranging from mild to extreme.

ATV Tours
ATVs and other off-road vehicles are not allowed to operate within park boundaries, but there are some mighty colorful trails with great scenery nearby

Brian Head - Ski, Board, Bike
Located approximately 90 minutes north of Zion National Park via all-weather highways, this area gets over 400 inches of snowfall annually. Brian Head Resort has 500 skiable acres, 53 runs, a 1,707 ft. vertical drop, plenty of backcountry and a lift-assisted tubing park. Brian Head has also become a renowned destination for mountain biking, offering great trails through mountain forests. You'll also find great snowmobiling terrain nearby, along with excellent hiking trails, campgrounds and fishing waters. Skiing usually runs from late November - mid-April. Outdoor Workshops
Zion Canyon Field Institute provides visitors with trailside learning adventures on subjects like animals, plants and geology. Private family and small group workshops are also available. 435-772-3264.

Zion Canyon Giant Screen Theatre
A 70 mm film format theatre featuring the film Zion Canyon Treasure of the Gods portraying the different eras of exploration in the Zion Canyon area. Open all year except December 25. 435-772-2400

Bumbleberry Inn Playhouse
