Snow Canyon State Park has so many trails to choose from, but if you're looking for a short and easy hike, Johnson Canyon is the one.
Whiptail Trail
The Whiptail trail is an easy 6-mile round trip hike and is popular with hikers, bikers, and joggers. It's a wide, paved trail that starts at the bottom of Snow Canyon State Park.
Petrified Dunes Trail
A moderate, 1-mile round trip hike in Snow Canyon State Park through some rugged terrain. The trail goes down through the Petrified Dunes where you'll explore mounds and crevices of Navajo sandstone.
Lava Flow Overlook Trail
A moderate, two-mile roundtrip trail that takes hikers from just below the junction of Snow Canyon Drive and State Route 18, down through several panoramic viewpoints.
