Heber Area Performing Arts
The Heber area offers a unique blend of artistic performances and entertainment options, reflecting various aspects of the area's culture and heritage. Some popular events are listed below.
- The annual Cowboy Poetry Gathering draws singers, song writers, poets, musicians and artists from around the region, including top Western talent such as Paul Overstreet and Ben Haggard.
- Midway Swiss Days is held the Friday and Saturday of Labor Day weekend. It offers live entertainment daily in the town square, along with a parade, a 5K race and lots of shopping. There is always a wide variety of handmade items, antiques, fine art and Swiss food.
- Timpanogos Valley Theatre, a non-profit, family-oriented community theater, makes its home in Heber City. Local performers present two or three plays per year, as well as four children's productions and a monthly improv comedy show.
