Powder Mountain Ski Resort

Over 8,000 skiable acres practically all to yourself with over 500 inches of "real" snow every year--they don't use those blowy machines to make up for what Mother Nature didn't bless them with. This resort is all-natural.

Powder Mountain Overview

Powder Mountain has consistently earned top ratings for Value and Snow Quality in the SKI Magazine reader survey. The locals are fortunate to call this their own private playground, however, "Pow Mow" is becoming the "world´s best known secret spot."

With 8,484 acres of skiable terrain, Powder Mountain is North America´s largest ski area. This is the place if you want endless powder or untouched corduroy. Even on the busiest day, you will only find one skier per two acres of terrain. Almost 3,000 skiable acres is a traditional lift served resort with an abundance of wide open groomed trails and powder runs. The remaining 5,000 acres is a dream come true for those seeking a powder paradise.

Newcomers sometimes missed the best runs for their level of skiing and shredding, so a team of locals was recruited to share their knowledge. Guests may choose from a free orientation with a Mountain Host or a day making fresh tracks through secret POW stashes with a Mountain Adventure Pro. After a few runs with a Pro or Host helping unlock the Mountain´s secrets, guests naturally begin to feel part of the Powder Mountain family. These inbound and guided backcountry tours are offered daily at Powder Mountain´s Adventure Center.

For those seeking a Powder Day like no other, the Snowcat Powder Safari is highly recommended. The all-day Safari takes guests to over 3,000 skiable acres of open bowls, chutes and perfectly gladded trees. The Safari is limited to 22 guests a day in order to preserve the quality of the experience.

It´s guaranteed, you will return home from Powder Mountain bragging about your discovery of an amazing secret spot and your adventures on the slopes, or perhaps keeping the secret to yourself.
