Kodachrome Basin State Park

The scenery is splashy here, dominated by 67 monolithic stone spires called sedimentary pipes. They accentuate multi-hued sandstone layers revealing 180 million years of geologic time. Kodachrome Basin State Park is located near scenic Highway 12 in Southern Utah

This park is particularly popular during spring and fall, when temperatures are moderate. A concessionaire offers horseback rides and other activities and services.
Grosvenor Arch is located nearby.

This park is popular because of its outstanding scenery. It is a great place to camp, hike and ride horses.

The park offers a modern campground with 47 sites. Many are pull-through and can accommodate RVs up to 45 feet.
