Palisade State Park
Palisade State Park offers three main attractions: A golf course, modern campsites, and a small reservoir for canoeing and fishing.

Located near the tiny community of Sterling, about 133 miles south of Salt Lake City.
Drive US Hwy 89 to the Manti area in central Utah. From Hwy 89 in Sterling, look for the signed turnoff onto Palisade Road and follow that road east to the park.

Seasons/Open Hours
The park is open year-round with no holiday closures. The golf course is open during later spring, summer and early fall, weather permitting.
Summer hours - 8:00 am to 10:00 pm
Winter hours - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Description
The18 hole golf course at this park is very popular. In a mountain setting above a small reservoir, the park is very scenic. Campsites and picnic areas extend along the reservoir shoreline. Gas powered boats are not allowed on the reservoir. Canoes and paddleboats are popular and can be rented. The reservoir is heavily stocked for family fishing. Nearby, Six-Mile Canyon provides access to a large network of ATV and snowmobile trails along Skyline Drive.

The modern campground offers 70 sites suitable for tents and RVs. There are also 6 camping cabins. Pull-through and back-in sites can accommodate RVs up to 75 feet. Some sites have full hookups.
Group camping areas are also available.
Rentals:
Paddle boats and Paddleboards: $20 for 1 hour, $40 for 4 hours, and $60 for all-day
Canoes and Adult Kayaks: $10 for 1 hour, $20 for 4 hours, and $30 for all-day
Kid Kayaks: $5 for 1 hour and $15 for 4 hours
E-Bike Rental: $50 all-day (until 8 pm)
Firewood: $5/bundle
Ice: $3/bag
Camping fees:
Arapeen Campground: $25 per night for Single Sites/ $50 per night for Double Sites (no hookups) $30 per night for Single Sites/ $60 per night for Double Site (electric only)
Pioneer Campground: $25 per night for Single Sites/ $50 per night for Double Sites
Sanpitch Campground: $25 per night for Single Sites/ $50 per night for Double Sites (no hookups) or $30 (full hookups)
Wakara Campground: $35 per night for Single Sites/ $70 per night for Double Sites (full hookups) $30 per night (electric/water only)
Cabins: Full Amenities: $100 per night
Basic Amenities: $80 per night
Extra Vehicles: $15 per night. Extra vehicles are not paid for through reservations and must be paid for at the park. Only one extra vehicle per single site and two extra vehicles per double site. If you have more than the allowed extra vehicles you can either pay $20/night and leave the vehicle in the overflow area or pay for another site if one is available.
Group Overnight Camping:
Arapeen and Sanpitch Group Campground: $175 flat fee (50 people recommended)
Pioneer Group Campground: $100 flat fee (30 people recommended)
Wakara Group Campground: $200 flat fee (50 people recommended)
(Wakara includes four sites with electric RV hookups
Gold Hill Group Campground: $150 flat fee (40 people recommended)
