Scofield Reservoir State Park
Scofield Reservoir is one of Utah's most important fisheries and usually offers good action year-round for cutthroat and rainbow trout. The park offers two very nice campgrounds. It is a great place to spend a relaxing weekend, or to use as a base camp to explore the nearby mountains.
Scofield is located near Skyline Drive, which is a high mountain area offering countless small lakes and streams, along with great ATV and snowmobile trails. Many people enjoy big game hunting in this area.
Main Attractions
Scofield offers a very popular fishing reservoir located in the tops of the mountains in central Utah. It is also a great base camp for activities along nearby Skyline Drive.
Location
Located near the town of Scofield, approximately 120 miles southeast of Salt Lake City. Take I-15 to the Price-Manti exit. Go east on SR 6 and then turn south on State Highway 96. From there is is 10 miles to the park.

Summer - 6:00 am to 10:00 pm
Winter - 6:00 am to 10:00 pm
(Winter visitors have full access to the reservoir but facilities are winterized and closed)

Madsen Bay Campground: $30
Mountain View Campground: $25
Group Day Use:
Lakeside Group Area: $2 per person (25 person min – 35 max – limited parking)
Group Overnight Camping:
Mountain View Group Campground: $3 per person (25 person min – 50 max – 12 vehicles or 5 RVs max)

Two campgrounds are available with sites for tents and RVs up to 35 feet. RV hookups are not available. The Mountain View campground, located six miles north of the town of Scofield, offers modern restrooms and hot showers. The Madsen Bay campground, located on the north end of the reservoir, is a popular area for groups and families.
