Red Fleet State Park
The picturesque reservoir here offers great fishing and boating, and the campground is very nice. As a result, this state park is a quality destination in its own right. It also serves as a convenient base camp to explore the surrounding area.

This park offers stunning scenery in a red rock area just north of Vernal. It has excellent camping and fishing, and makes a great base camp to explore Dinosaur National Monument and other area attractions.

Located along US Hwy 191, about 13 miles north of the town of Vernal.

-Full Hook-ups (site 18, 50 amp service) $26 / night and $13 extra vehicle / night
-Dry Camp $13 / night and $8 extra vehicle / night.
-Tipi: Not available during winter months.
-Hammock Site: $28 per night (includes up to 8 hammocks)

-Full Hook-ups (sites 17, 19-22, have 20/30 amp service) $25 / night and $13 extra vehicle / night

-Hammock Site: $30 per night (includes up to 8 hammocks)
(Hammocks are not allowed to be placed in trees at Red Fleet State Park. Single hammock stands are available upon request for $5 per night.)

The developed campground offers some sites with full RV hookups. All sites are back-in and accommodate tents and RVs up to 30 feet. This park does not offer a group camping area.
