Things To Do In Moab
In ancient Sumerian, "Moab" meant "that thing of how you can't stop smiling as you set off on a great adventure." (Don't look that up. It's not true.) If you are the type of person who likes to A) be outside and B) do things, cancel all vacation plans not pointed at Moab. It's got easy access to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, Dead Horse Point State Park, the Colorado River, and thousands of square miles of amazing red rock landscapes just waiting to be explored on a mountain bike, four wheeler, raft, jeep or in a pair of hiking boots or climbing shoes.
Moab is more than a place to crash between adventures (though you can crash however you want, from camping to a luxury resort). Cook hotdogs over a fire for lunch, then grab fine dining when it gets too dark to mountain bike if you feel fancy. With roasted marshmallows for dessert. There are spas, a theater and a really weird hostel behind some storage units. Moab is the best.
