Birdsong Hiking Trail in Ogden, Utah
The Birdsong trail in Ogden, Utah is an easy, 1-mile out-and-back trail along the east bench in Ogden. It goes by 6 springs, a pond and deep forest, where you can see an abundance of birds (hence the name). It is an easy out and back hike, or have someone pick you up at the other end.
Ben Lomond Peak
Ben Lomond Peak is the highest peak overlooking the Ogden area at 9,712 feet. It's a strenuous hike, but the views are well worth it. Wildflowers and moose are common along the lower trail. The trail is used by horsemen and is open to dirt bikes.
